ICE CLIMBING FESTIVAL PONTRESINA 26.03.11

Every year it is a perfect termination here in Pontresina.
That's the last iceclimbing competition after a long winter.

After the qualification of 60 meters speed climbing, my good friend Romano and I achieved the Final.
It was really hard, for 60 meters speed climbing I needed 52 seconds.
The final route was about 80 meters.
So we had to divide our power.
It's hard to breathe on this icefall, because it's about 2'900 meters over sea.

After the competition I was destroyed.
My mind and my body was completed...
We had a lot of luck, and so we won again.
We are so happy and in the evening we had a really cool party...
Steini is really crazy, but a cool show...

GOVERTICAL

We planed to go to Amerika in 4 weeks.
Unfortunately I broke my hand and now we plan to go to Utah and Yosemite next autumn.
I have to make a climbing brake for about 6 weeks. It's not easy for me.
I can't do anything...
In may we make the course for skydiving, so i hope I can start with climbing in the middle of may...
